YELLOW SUBMARINE (1968). The animation was phenomenal, but I did get bored a couple of times. I'd still buy a blu-ray copy for my collection. This movie was born so that "The thief and the cobbler" could fly.

(Days ago) I finished rereading A GAME OF THRONES, I liked it even more this time. I used to think that GRRM wasted time with he's extensive descriptions, but this time they felt like a soundscape; like listening to story around a campfire. Immersion, that's the word.

Last night I saw PRINCESS MONONOKE for the first time in imax, I feel privileged. This is one of the superior Ghibli films, for sure; their fantasy epic. The special sauce is Miyazaki and his way to create thematic nuance through character.
