I assume you mean physical tools? I really like the Twsbi Eco for doodling and stuff on paper! Large ink capacity, piston fill so you can refill directly from any fountain pen inks you have, and a big variety of nib sizes to choose from.

Aside from that I still use the odd lamy safari for italics, blackwings for pencils, pentel brush pen for areas of black and pentel micro correct for white-out.

If that's a little intimidating I really like the platinum preppy- very beginner friendly, same good variety in nib sizes and it's cartridge based which is much less messy than a piston fill or a converter.
