As rough as OOC play has been for most SWAC schools, the start of league play signals probably the most wide open league race we've seen in a decade. There's no clear cut favorite, and the line between contenders for the SWAC regular season crown and tourney play is razor thin.

This weekend in MEAC league play was epic, with at least two games that will ultimately figure into determining the regular season pecking order, coming down to the wire. Howard's Blake Harper and Norfolk State's Brian Moore continue to impress, (1)
