"Leaving the EU has altered the texture of everyday life in Britain in ways that are now impossible to ignore: at the border, in the workplace, in the cost of food and increasingly in the country’s diminished ability to shape the world around it."

With legal challenges to this law pending, we cannot justify building the expensive required infrastructure.

For now, we have made the difficult decision to block access in Mississippi.

Our Response to Mississippi’s Age Assurance Law - Bluesky
A new Mississippi law requires us to block full access to Bluesky unless all users complete age checks. We have concerns about this law’s implementation.

USA state Law online safety act is even worse then the UK online safety act. I hope you take a dump on Mississippi

Unfortunately, Bluesky is unavailable in Mississippi right now, due to a new state law that requires age verification for all users.

While intended for child safety, we think this law poses broader challenges & creates significant barriers that limit free speech & harm smaller platforms like ours.

look like UK media is running the UK more than the PM Starmer
A repeat of the spectacle in the Oval Office, when sections of the UK media actively tried to drive wedges, embarrass Starmer, and create some sort of diplomatic incident. Ironic that the same media orgs endlessly wang on about “patriotism”, then treat events like this as a sabotage opportunity. ~AA
