It was great to see the SC upholding the lower courts decision to stop the freeze of development aid. But will Trump comply? Violation of a courts ruling can lead to impeachment but that’s not going to happen with the GOP members of the house in a stranglehold by Trump. Sad and scary.

Take an art class, compose a poem (doesn’t have to rhyme), go for a long walk in the woods, a swim in the ocean if you can, immerse in nature, to dispel the blues!!!

Did you hear about the attempt to impeach Trump? It’s by a leftist group named “Free Speech For People”. Their petition calls for the Congress to initiate impeachment investigation into Trump’s “violations of the Emoluments Clauses and into his unlawful corrupt campaign practices”.

The truth of January 6th can't be erased. Watch the pardoned criminals brutally attacking police inside the Capitol and see what some call 'patriotism.' No spin, just facts.

Trump’s priority now seems to be to get cozy again with dictators Kim and Putin! Maybe before the summit Kim and Trump will write love letters to each other? Like in Trump’s first term!!

Federal aid to Los Angeles Trump will depend on voter registration- and I guess how many in California voted for him!! Sad!!

Sad that even Senator Ernst succumbed to obvious pressure and is now supporting an alleged sexual predator for Defense secretary. Very sad.

Republicans want to put conditions before releasing federal aid to California to help recover from the impact of unprecedented wildfires? Shameful.

Is the guy who has allegedly committed sexual assault and a drunk, whose only experience is to talk glibly, going to be Defense Secretary because the GOP senators are so frightened of antagonising their leader?

physics of climate impacts 101:
- Stuff gets hot (worse heatwaves)
- Hot air holds more water vapor (heavier rainfall)
- Hot air is thirstier air (higher drought risk)
- Warm water is hurricane food (stronger storms)
- Hot water expands and hot ice melts (sea level rise)

According to CNBC’s Alex Harring. The stock market gain followed by Trump’s election win is close to being wiped out. He writes that the Trump bump could become Trump slump. Since some of his policies could be detrimental to inflation and raise the deficit.

Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

we don’t need climate action just for future generations, we need it now.

the climate crisis is here, all around us

Meanwhile platforms fail to surface key news, vital info is paywalled...

As I've been saying, we need a new tech paradigm, yesterday!

So happy about Biden’s ban on offshore drilling. Critical to protect the last frontier- the ocean! Important element in Biden’s environmental and climate change legacy! And Trump wants to “unban” immediately on becoming President. I guess he doesn’t know that Congress will need to do the unbanning

Yesterday’s Slate magazine discusses a loophole in the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution. It says that no person can be elected as President more than twice. However, Trump could in theory run as VP in 2028 with a patsy as President, patsy resigns and Trump becomes President for a third term!🥵
