Something too few people know is that there were potentially more deaths in just three months in Mariupol than in Gaza during the entire war, despite Mariupol having a much smaller population.

Russian war crimes and their magnitude are underestimated by many

In my 50 years of participating in and taking an intellectual interest in protests I can only recall violence instigated by two protest groups: sovereign citizens/anti-vax and the 🍉 (big crossover). The cops were initially ill-prepared for violent protests.

This really downplays how uniquely awful and dangerous ICE and border agents are in USA. And, for Gaia's sake, it is disingenuous to show police restraining a person and not show why they were detaining them. It was clearly a volatile situation. Context is important.
This is ICE in Australia 🤮 and it's Labor that's doing it wtf is going on 😡

Commentator: No, a regulated police force subject to oversight and review, with their faces uncovered, is not the same as a lawless group of anonymous thugs, knowing that they can act with impunity, attacking citizens just going about their lives.

Well, looks like the single issue voters and the white supremacists are together going to give 🇦🇺 its own trump in the form of Pauline Hanson.

Incite attacks on the police, film police response and disseminate free of context. Glad to see that the police were well prepared. They are not always the enemy, protestors are not always peaceful. youtu.be/wZlOncl0M_Q?...

Bad Bunny 😃😄🤣
Well, Bad Bunny just canceled himself.
Zara clothing is on #BDS boycott list for two things:
1. In February 2025, during the Gaza genocide, Zara opened a mega store on the illegally occupied Palestinian lands.
2. Zara group funded ultra right (nazi) Ben Gvir election event.

When Stinky is gone, I reckon that Malaria will arrange for Beavis and Butthead to have a terminal accident. This will allow Gru to take the throne, while she pulls the strings.

I recently watched a video of Elton John interviewing the women from Wet Leg. I have so much respect for this man and his ongoing interest in mentoring young musicians.

Also, the video for Wet Legs "Ur Mum" is just fantastic.

I have known a number of people over the years who don't really like music. Even as a lifelong player of musical instruments, I understand. As I get older, I listen to less and less music.

This is a really interesting story. Border incursions in the Torres Strait Islands and the role that local people play in patrolling. More resources, enforce the borders, creat employment opportunities. Environmental preservation, fishing ...

The federal government is terrorising communities, brutalising anyone they chose, immigrant or not, breaking its own constitution and killing its own citizens.

It is doing this to distract from their flagrant illegality & corruption, and to protect powerful paedophiles.

The USA is a failed state.

To the cowardly draft-dodging lump of excrement, who describes his own brave war dead as 'suckers and losers': UK personnel killed in Afghanistan fighting alongside our US allies number 454,with 2000 + wounded, many severely. In Iraq, 179 killed, 3598 wounded. Josh Leakey's VC citation says it all.

Following Napoleon Bonespurs claim that after USA invoked NATO Article V to get NATO to join USA in Afghanistan, that other countries ‘stayed a little off the front lines’, can I suggest you look up Joshua Leakey on Wikipedia and read his medal citation? Thank you for your attention in this matter.

A coworker took this from her apartment. I haven't seen a crowd this size before. Maybe the first Women's March? But it was much much warmer that day. ICE OUT OF MINNESOTA!

Very sad news out of Te Ika-a-Māui, Aotearoa New Zealand. Tragic loss in landslides at Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. Devastating storms with massive rainfall. Thoughts and ❤️ to all, and especially to the people in rescue services. They see things that most of us never have to see.
