"I can see a world where Spotify doesn’t exist".

I remember the world before it did.

Some really interesting projects highlighted in here. We've been excited about @subvert.fm for a while, but I hadn't heard of Cantilever before.

It's been a long time since I saw one band do two gigs in the same week, but @bccamplight.bsky.social in London & Southampton was well worth all the driving.

What an astonishing writer and what an incredible band.

In other news, saw @bccamplight.bsky.social at the Roundhouse last night.
Astonishing, detailed, passionate performance from an awesome band.

If you've not heard him yet, you should.
Start with the new album.

Received my zine today from @subvert.fm , and what a lovingly put together package it is.
If the execution of the platform itself is even close to the coherence and care with which they put this together, there are some excellent times ahead!
Not long now until we get access!

I'm appreciating my @hearingthingsco.bsky.social sub more and more every day.

Been doing a lot of work figuring out how to play out stuff live, with one person.

Would really like to play in places in 2026.

Anyone else working lots with Ableton in a live setting?

This time tomorrow, you too can be smashing your head on the desk in frustration at the quiz.

That, and loads of excellent brand new music !

It's here! All the way from Lewis!

If you've not got it yet, grab yourself a copy of the new @flakebelly.bsky.social .
It's awesome music, and a really lovely object. Pretty inspiring test-case for supporting independent music.

If ever you wondered why you should pull your music from Spotify, they've been running ICE recruitment advertisements for a number of days now.

Spotify without your music has no business.

Put your effort into Bandcamp instead.

We wrote a song about what happened one stormy night, in Placeford.

The names have been omitted in the lyrics to protect those concerned.

Why don't you give it a listen?
