Of the 4000 researchers at NIH, only 20% are tenured. They’re going to fire all the rest as their contracts come up for renewal, absolutely decimating research at the NIH. This is catastrophic, not just for Americans, but for the whole world.

SCOTUS is wrong. Last year, I voted against the TikTok ban because I feared Congress getting into the business of shutting down media platforms in violation of the 1st Amendment. If implemented, this ban would impact 170 million Americans who use TikTok for news & entertainment.

Incredibly scary watching the Palisades Fire spread so quickly on day one, Tue Jan 7th. At this point, we began to pack for evacuation and did a video walkthrough of our home. What a stressful week. The firefighters and animal rescuers were absolute heroes! #Palisadesfire #LAFire
