Just want to say I am so blown away by the humble, caring, philosophical attitude of men, once little boys, who have so many reasons to be hurt and angry but think of others before themselves. It’s a lesson for people far more powerful & wealthy than them. This stuff keeps me going in this job.

For many months last year, commercial TV women expressed incandescence to me on the phone about how their male colleagues got away with so much, & women had to be so much better (& conventionally pretty, perfectly groomed) & never got second chances. Never stepped out of line bc they wouldn’t dare.
