In my opinion one of the great social changes that is needed for modern life @4dayweek.bsky.social #wellbeing
Is the NHS ready for a four day week?
@pedromaiagomespt.bsky.social and colleagues suggest a four day week could improve staff retention and absenteeism without compromising productivity or care quality. They call for a rigorous NHS evaluation

Culture isn’t built on the values you have framed on a wall. It’s built by what you allow in the room.
When people see bad behaviour go unchecked, it sets a standard.
Tolerate it once, and it becomes the baseline.
Call it out, and you’ll create conditions for something better.

Chaos is quite possibly the politest way to describe the current situation.
Sir Keir Starmer’s plan to overhaul the NHS has been thrown into chaos after no money has been set aside to cover the costs of making thousands of redundancies at ICBs www.thetimes.com/article/14b7...
Starmer’s NHS reforms thrown into chaos by ‘£1bn layoff bill’
Patients could be put at risk as the one-off cost of redundancies, estimated at between £600 million and £1 billion, puts staff and services in limbo
