In Ethiopia, 200,000 forcibly displaced women and girls have been impacted by the closure of services that respond to sexual and physical violence.

This includes the closure of a safe house that puts survivors at immediate risk of being killed.

Climate and conflict are more interlinked than they’ve ever been before.

People are fleeing conflict only to find themselves on the frontlines of the climate crisis.

Meanwhile that very climate crisis can fuel tensions and force more to flee. #COP29

From #Gaza and #Sudan to #Ukraine, #DRC, #Haiti and many more, children are paying an immensely high price for conflict.

They are severely affected by violence, destruction of schools and infrastructure, and compromised health services.
They need safety, services and peace.
