I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

I am so incredibly frustrated that Susan Collins voted to advance the big bill. Recent polling shows that the majority of Mainers disapprove. She knowingly voted against the will of her constituents. In 2026, Maine needs to understand the assignment and vote her out.
This bill is devastating to Maine:
🔻65K Mainers lose healthcare
🔻~25K lose food security
🔻~5 rural hospitals forced to close
Disappointed/angry, but not surprised her “concerns” were empty words.
