I feel live-action Aladdin Genie is doing too much casual favour magic for the drowning wish hurdle to really work.
Maybe you could say it's part of the upkeep on the first wish, but his whole deal is the magic is a thin façade that doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

My mother is watching Stargate and getting very confused.
I think the problem is she was wanting to watch Farscape (she just keeps saying "it's the one with the aliens"), but the shared cast is making it very hard to convince her she's watching the wrong thing.

Y'know what? Batman Begins doesn't get as much love as it should. It's kinda eclipsed by the sequels & subsequent iterations, and the first act can be a little laborious on a rewatch. But it's a really solid film with some great Batman-ing.
