I think about quitting smoking often but I don't think I really could. There are simply some pieces of information where the only correct response to learning them is to drop everything you're doing and walk directly outside for a cigarette

Jump scares are just another tool, it can be used poorly or it can be used well. Don't condemn the hammer just because a lot of people use it to bash random holes in the drywall.
Listening to a podcast in which one of the speakers implies that jumpscares are universally cheap and beneath certain vibes and to that I shake my fist and urge you to reconsider!!

it's unfortunate that there aren't more good day-to-day stimulants. I don't need a new life ruining addiction or something that will bankrupt me, I don't want more ADHD medication. we just need a good third for nicotine and caffeine as an extra treat
