This pesto gnocchi! I may have messed up the ricotta/flour ratio in the original recipe while rushing this morning,so I whipped up a quick pesto & added it to balance ratios. A keeper of a recipe was born! Ps, let your gnocchi rest for the day, what a difference! Now, how do I stop eating this???

Ok….the sauce was good, but at the risk of causing a riot, overhyped? Also I could not bring myself to remove the onions,they have been soaking in butter for an hour how could they not be amazing? (they were) Served over pesto ricotta gnocchi with fizzled white beans, topped with chives and parm.

It is rather gloomy here today, a perfect reason to try the famous Marcella Hazan sauce recipe with the lovely heirlooms I picked up at the market of course.
