I decided to give Dragon Age The Veilguard a shot. I played for 2 hour, felt like I missed some context, and proceeded to download Inquisition. I’ll get back to Veilguard soon enough since I liked what I saw, but now it’s time for my 5th (!!!) attempt to finish “Grind-quisition”

I was home with a cold for a few days so I watched/re-watched all the Saw movies. While they are trashy, messy and convoluted to a fault, I had such a great time that all the issues basically melted away (well except for Spiral. Fuck that one).
Now I have to see 11 in the cinema this year lol

Little Nightmares 2 is such a massively creative, fun, beautiful and creepy game. Depth perception is a bit off so at times movement or traversal gets messed up. Still can’t bring myself to dislike this gem despite my frustrations at certain parts.

Finished both playthroughs of RE2R with my wife a few days ago. This game is pretty much perfect if you ask me. Incredibly fun and just enough genuine horror to keep the blood pumping. My favourite in game zombies of any video game I’ve played.

David Lynch is dead and the world is all the lesser for it. He was a true artist. His work is magnificently strange, beautifully earnest and, at times, oh so terribly frightening. I’ve quoted this man more times than I can count so to say that I love his work is an understatement.

I’m seriously considering Godzilla Minus One just to see the reactions + forcing them to seriously engage with and analyse a Kaiju film will only do them good.

Man, watching Nosferatu (1979) while being balls deep in Pathologic 2 enhanced both experiences in ways I could not have imagined.
Oh yeah, Eggers film was also fantastic, if more focused on the occult than presenting a plague narrative. Be it 1922, 1979 or 2024, Nosferatu slaps!

RE7 + DLCs was a nearly perfect experience for me. Masterful balance between genuine horror and fun action. I devoured this game in (for me) a really short time and I will definitely go back and replay it in the future.

Finished GoW 2018 for the first time today. The heights this game reaches is majestic, but there is one thing that really holds the game back: The flying dark elves nearly made me uninstall the game because of how bullshit they are. And this comes from a guy who just complete Dark Souls 2 😛
