All the plants are covered or inside. I’m trying out using some incandescent Christmas lights to keep some plants warm. Crossing my fingers and hoping to save as many plants as possible. Tropical plants don’t do well with a week of freezing temperatures.

There really will be snow in the Houston area.
A major winter storm continues to look likely for the Houston area Monday night and Tuesday, with the potential for heavy snow and sleet in parts of the region. Travel will become difficult to impossible Tuesday morning through at least Wednesday morning across most of the area.

The local radio news advised getting to the airport 3 HOURS EARLY. Good luck to all that travel from now through Christmas. I can drive to San Antonio in the same amount of time it’d drive me to fly there.
