So, I went to the book sale at the library last Friday, and I learned something. Louisa May Alcott also wrote thrillers. I bought the omnibus of them all, and am finally sitting down to read them. LITTLE WOMEN was/is a classic, let's see how she did with thrillers!

Why is it considered rude to read a book in the company of others, but no one (or very few) blinks an eye at people staring at their phones?

I just stared at a word for five minutes trying to figure out why spell check didn't mark it...only to find out it was spelled correctly. 🫣🤭

I'm reading this ARC, and I had an epiphany. The book is concerning emotional intelligence, but the scenarios the author brings up - I have never experienced (and I'm a 45yo woman). They're 'common', so does that mean I don't have to be an adult anymore?

I went to Goodwill, of course for book hunting, and I found an amalgam of manga, graphic novels, and comics for 99¢ each. To say the least, I left with quite the load.
