Over the past 15 years we've put up and maintained 50 nest boxes in mid-wales, specifically for the Redstart (Phoenicurus phoenicurus) and pied flycatchers. Gratifying to see them in use each year.

We have an overwintering #WoodLark just north of where I live.
It's very rare in winter, I think it's only the second ever winter record for the county.
