New malaria drug could be a life-saver as the standard drug shows signs of weakness
The best drug to fight malaria is facing increased resistance from the parasites it fights. Now there's an alternative in the pipeline and it looks promising.

Quackolini wants to delay Hep B shots until age 12. Problem: the danger is vertical transmission at birth, when 9 in 10 infections become lifelong. That’s not a health plan—it’s an epidemiology experiment with your child as the control group.
"Hepatitis B is sexually transmitted, no reason to give a baby hepatitis B. Wait until the baby is 12 years old and formed and give them hepatitis B."

The last time the administration recklessly hawked a drug as a cure-all for something it hadn’t been shown to do, numerous people taking HCQ lost access to their meds - and the HCQ harmed the Covid patients it was used on.

Now with leucovorin, a similar shortage with subsequent harm(s) may occur
