Just listened to podcast & they had a guest who worked for Meta & has written a book. It was pointed out that she was forbidden to discuss the book or say anything negative about her former employer.

Out for a walk & passed two people talking. Said hello & asked if they were enjoying their day.
"Yes" was the reply "were just putting the world to rights" & before I could say anything, it was quickly followed by how she couldn't go into the city centre anymore because of foreigners.

Is it just me, or is there a total lack of imagination in government? They all seem to want some half imagined state when everything was 'better' (spoiler: it wasn't - you were younger & it just seemed that way).
