Not really my main social media platform, mainly here just to follow cool people. If you're reading this because I followed you, you're cool! (You do not need to follow back; I am not cool.)

Hmmm, I'm having trouble finding good info on this, maybe this is something AI could actually help with?

Me: "Hey Copilot, how do I do <x>?"

Copilot: "Have you considered checking the documentation?"

...thanks Copilot, very helpful

Not exactly the best sleep last night. Getting sick sucks...

Bought a couple new pillows to replace the lumpy mess I've been using, so maybe I'll get a better night's sleep.

Not tonight, though! I probably should have realized earlier that I'd bought queen-sized pillows and all my pillowcases are 'standard'-sized...

"This comics bundle is great, but the covers are kinda hard to read in this reader. I'll just put it into list mode so I can see what the titles actually are..."

I only reinstalled LOTRO to get the free stuff pack, but the summer festival was going on so I figured I do a few of those quests and now three days later I'm looking up detailed Loremaster build guides...

A bit smoky this morning. Despite a bad wildfire season, we've been lucky this year and haven't gotten a lot of the smoke in the city, but we couldn't avoid it forever... #yyc

"Okay, I've been putting it off for weeks, but I'm clear of tickets to work on, and I'm waiting on a very-long-running test, so I've got a few hours to spare to take that online Fire Warden training my boss wanted."

Dang, 30 years ago I went into the Compucentre in Bow Valley Square and bought a spankin' new copy of Windows 95. I still have all of the floppies for it:

I just got an email informing me about some kind of change to Google Gemini. I normally wouldn't care, but I did find it a bit amusing that Google Mail saw fit to automatically put it in the Spam folder...

I don't know if there's a collective noun for a group of cell tower antennas, but we probably need one.

Almost lost my USB thumb drive, but found it at the building entrance.

Strangers could have learned my embarrassing secrets, like that I haven't updated the Linux boot/rescue image on it in at least 6 years!

For the first time I had to be the grumpy old fart telling a kid to watch it with the soccer ball they were kicking against my apartment wall.

I feel bad for them, kids do need places to play. But I don't want a broken window either, and a stray ball has already knocked the screen out of alignment.

Left work early but didn't quite beat the sudden storm cell home. I managed to make it to the Peace Bridge for shelter at least, unlike these poor boaters.

Finally cancelled my PC Game Pass due to the layoffs, what MS has been doing with AI, and, well, their general behaviour lately.

I have Too Damn Many other games to play already anyway.

Got my daily walk in before the temps got unbearable, and ran across a whole bunch of Canada geese on Canada Day.

I'm sure some of these are goslings I've caught in previous photos, now nearly fully grown.

Steam is not only saving me money by having their giant summer sale, but also saving me money by keeping me from loading my wishlist.

Braved the rain to see how the Bow River is doing (it's fine, no flooding), and ran across what has to be the largest flock of geese I've ever seen.
