Hubby convinced me to code the intro section of my vn into the actual program to make sure things work the way I want them to.
The hardest part is forcing myself to *not* spend hours upon hours fiddling with everything visually so it looks the way I see it in my head.

I follow this rule religiously when I'm translating.

there is almost no feedback I will reflexively ignore as a game developer but “you shouldn’t name something X because people don’t know that word” is one of them. oh no! You might learn a new word! God forbid you take away a piece of knowledge from a game that’s not a brand of gun or some shit lol

I even named the guy James and the girl Tomoko (not Tabitha, but still pretty damn close).

When I was living there, the only celebration was at the local bar, catering to all the exchange students in town.
It was also the night one of my classmates was killed by a train.
