On January 1, 1804, Haiti was made free

Today, we celebrate the only successful slave revolution in history, Haiti became the first Black republic and the first free nation in the Americas to abolish slavery.

TPS protects Haitians in the US from deportation + allows them to work. Families across the country are now at risk of being separated
