This was the first trip for my Hubby’s service dog. The pup did great and he really liked the boat rides. He also really liked meeting all the Disney characters and they all fell in love with him. He is a very handsome pup and when dressed as a prince he is irresistible.

The Disney photographers loved the service dogs in costumes and they were so excited that we can pose the dogs for them to get more photos. We spoke to a few of them the next day and they told us that the morning meeting featured pictures of our service dogs and they were excited to take more.

In mid October we traveled to Disneyland for a couple of days to attend the Oogie Boogie Bash. We go with friends we made 15 years ago in service dog training at OFP. Our group is four people and four service dogs. Our themed costumes: Princes & Princesses and their security.

We walked on the beach in the late afternoon. She has always loved the beach and splashing and swimming in the waves. She was so excited and wanted to walk the whole time. This is her Magical Victory Tour and she sets the pace. Tomorrow we come back and let her swim!

We are starting the Magical Victory Tour for our oldest pup. She is over 16yrs old & she has reached the limit of medication for her pain. We want to give her the best weeks of her life while she can still enjoy it. We are visiting friends & places she loves. More pics of the tour to come.

At Infusion center to get IV iron, hydration and other vitamins. My intestines were damaged in post surgical infection. This means I cannot absorb vitamins & nutrients like normal people and need life long intravenous nutrition to stay alive. Infusion nurses are the best, absolute best.

By the time we got close to home the fields erupted in the brilliant yellow blooms of Mustard flowers. The mustard flowers feed the bees and helps replenish nutrients in the soil.

This dish started as a “clean out the produce drawer” meal and we liked it so much that it is now a weekly meal. Sautéed squash, zucchini, onion, carrot, red/yellow peppers, tomatoes, with a mix or pinto, black and red chili beans with lots of Mexican spices and lime. Yummy, warm goodness.
