It can be hard to figure out how to resist in a way the makes a difference. I just cancelled a bunch of monthly subscription charges (including all Bezos-related ones) and split the money between the ACLU, news sources with investigative journalism, and targeted programs at my alma mater.

They have convinced much of America this is somehow about trans kids competing in sports or using bathrooms/locker rooms while what they are really doing is causing irreparable harm to children by denying this care.
In a new lawsuit filed against Trump by state AGs, a family with a trans kid shares she died by suicide last month citing fears Trump would deny her access to gender-affirming care. "Her parents have expressed fear...that what happened to their daughter does not happen to other children."

could move to Canada because she was fearful of new restrictions on transgender youth and
worried about losing access to gender-affirming care. In January 2025, she took her life. After

to therapy, puberty-delaying medication, hormones, and hope of surgery. Her parents have

Maybe Trump doesn’t want to be an authoritarian dictator. Maybe he likes helping regulatory attorneys work on new areas of the USC. He wants to be Chair of the Kennedy Center and fire the trustees? Plain reading of the USC says no: www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/...

It’s National Women and Girls in Sports Day. Do you know who will be most affected by Trump’s action against trans women in sports? Cis girls who are strong athletes and don’t look classically feminine. They will be bullied by adults. No adult should be concerned about a girl’s gen*talia.
