I never saw a wild muskrat feel sorry for itself.
Americans are surprised to learn that racist, xenophobic gulags are bad for business. More at 11.
The Hyundai arrests “could significantly impact future direct investment in the U.S.,” said South Korea’s President.

South Korean companies “can’t help hesitating a lot” about making new investments .. if their workers are liable to end up in detention ..”

Stephen Miller accidentally summons the nation's hippies to take to the streets.
Stephen Miller: "All these demonstrators that you've seen out here in recent days, all these elderly white hippies, they're not part of the city and never have been ... we're gonna ignore these stupid white hippies that all need to go home and take a nap because they're all over 90 years old."

Saskatchewan & Manitoba have already surpassed their previous highest annual total #wildfire emissions with Ontario amongst the highest in the 23-year #CopernicusAtmosphere dataset. Further west, British Columbia is comparable to 2023 & 2024 for the same time of year.

I just left the Everglades Immigrant Interment Camp. No, I’m not using their ridiculous name. It was a very tough to witness humans in those cages. Every Floridian should be ashamed that our taxpayer money is being used for this.

Canada's reward for being America's truest, most stalwart ally of the last 150 years is an unjustified trade war and 35% tariffs. There are battlefields the world over where Canada's finest lost blood on our behalf, little did they know we would stick the knife in their back at home. #shameful

The budget for ICE in the BBB will exceed the budget for the Marine Corps. The BBB is poised to pass. This is increasing their budget by a factor of 10. Ramping up for WWII levels of increase.

Except, the enemy is the public.

We are seeing the birth of a new police state.
If the GOP reconciliation bill passes, ICE gets through FY2029:

- $45 billion for detention, on top of the current annual budget of $3.4 billion
- $14.4 billion for transportation and removal, on top of the current annual budget of $750 million
- $8 billion for hiring/retention
- Billions more.

When we as Americans abandon the people of the world to starvation, war, poverty, unjust incarceration, the climate crisis unmet with a will towards a livable world, for the unchecked greed of our wealthy, it's not "America First" it's "America Only" and it feels like "America the Ugly."

The Rules Committee meets at 1 AM on Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning to ram through this disastrous bill. Why? Because they don't want you to see them ripping healthcare from millions of Americans.

You do not hold a hearing for a bill at 1 AM unless you're completely ashamed of it.
