US & Taiwan signed a trade agreement, formalizing a deal from January. US will reduce tariffs on Taiwan to 15%, the same rate that it applies to goods from Japan & South Korea. In return Taiwan will lower levies on US & buy billions-of-dollars-worth of its goods, including LNG, crude oil & aircraft.
