It's about to get real bad. Teams invested into losing due to protections: Pacers (top4), wizards (top8), Utah (top8), bucks (worse of them and Pels), and...kings/nets/grizz/dallas...even pélicans without inventive dont win. And even clippers would decide to lose (if lottery winks they gan get 5-9)

With the caveat that it's been a massively disappointing season for McCain (only reason he was available), this is a no-brainer for OKC. Addresses one of team's biggest needs offensively while offering legitimate upside, cost control, and by all accounts, one of the best personalities in the league.
