The most efficient, high usage guard seasons in NBA history (>30% USG, >65% true shooting). It's still early, but it's wild that SGA is right there with 2016 Steph in terms of efficiency and the advanced stats (2016 Steph's +10.5 EPM is the highest ever. SGA is currently at +10.9).

There have only been 32 games in Thunder franchise history where their opponent hit 10+ more 3-pointers. They are now 7-25 in those games.

This is the last 3 yrs for OKC's defense per CTG. Through 11 games, OKC has been top-5 in defensive rebounding, slightly better than post-ASB last season. Relatedly, even with missed games, Chet/IHart have already played about half the min (155) they played together all last season (316).

Playing NBA teams in a tournament is such a terrible idea. There's only downside for NBA teams, both from losing and picking up injuries in what will be a meaningless tournament. It works in soccer because the top talent is spread across multiple leagues.

That 2026 IND pick that the Pacers got back in the deal with New Orleans was only top-4 protected. Now 0-3 with significant injuries on top of Hali being out. It's incredible to think of how better positioned New Orleans (also 0-3) would be if they just sat on their hands this summer.

I reported earlier in the summer that Willie Green had lost support from the players and organization, yet Dumars was mandated by Benson to keep him around.
Green still does not have the locker and the Pelicans patience is wearing thin. Players are checked out and management sees it.
