I don't know who needs to see this, but after passing the device through and trying everything short of moving to a privileged LXC container, HW transcoding in dockerized Jellyfin came down to changing the ownership of /dev/dri/renderD128 in the LXC container to "0:<GID of the container user>" 🤷🏻♂️

The Big Lebowski is a perfect movie. The first time I saw it was a summer night on cable at like 4 am, and now the denouement always gives me that slightly melancholic vibe of sunrise after an all-nighter. It was followed by “Home Grown” (why do I remember this?) which is not a perfect movie.
