This is why I don't buy the whole "we removed the eye glow so their emotions would be easier to read" argument for the blood elf cinematic trailer because Blizzard has ALWAYS been excellent at conveying emotions through expression work. Even for characters without features.

I do really think 11.0 has an amazing set of zones with really dynamite world building
Wish we got an expansion set in them 😜

Genuinely obsessed with them and the weight of history that whole zone has.

one of many reasons I consider BfA to be the absolute worst expansion blizz ever made regarding story, it undid everything about MoP, it somehow half assed three seperate stories, it fucked over Horde both as a faction and it's characters while continuing to make Alliance feel lack luster, it sucked

Another factor is that loud feedback about the state of the writing was heeded more closely back then. Cata's borderline parody memefest gave way to the more thought out MoP.
They're very stubborn now in comparison. You can feel the discomfort when they have to write anything that isn't DFcore.

I think the complaints about the recent wow housing ads are silly because it’s casual fun content being advertised as such.
