We had a two hour drive so spent the whole time brainstorming a robotics event. Lots of good ideas, but everything hinges on a venue.

I started a new job last month that has winter break Dec 18th to Jan 6th and I don’t know what to do with all this free time.

During holidays I go into super organization mode. Today I designed, CAD, and manufactured two shelve extensions off my homemade shelving unit.
These will hold Bambu AMS in a very accessible place.
I love how the hardboard looks like leather.

I have a few Circuit Playgrounds sitting idle so I’m starting with these.
Next I’ll work on power, servo control (I have one Adafruit CRICKIT), and remote control.

Iterating autonomous robots is not easy! 😓
Missed preload. Missed pickup twice. Heading is off by 180 degrees.
But, setbacks build tenacity! 💪
All these were fixed in about two hours! Now the sequence can be optimized more.

Missed preload. Missed pickup twice. Heading is off by 180 degrees.

They went 5-1 and in the one loss the our driver took a page out of Grand Theft Auto crashing into everything 😂
