The Toadstool Hoodoo!
I had the opportunity to visit this unique formation last September during an astrophotography conference.
This meant that there were large crowds of people at this popular sight making it quite challenging to capture a foreground without light pollution from all the headlamps.

A different approach in this photo!
Instead of capturing multiple image and trying to blend them, this image is a single 30 minute exposure.
The conditions were very calm and I had captured the images that I had intended to shoot so I decided to try some longer exposures.

There were 2 partially clear nights the 7 nights I was in the area, and the week after there were none predicted.
