Today tickets go on sale for ‘The Events Unconference’, my first Unconference of 2025!

Life. Please sign, for the sake of continued UK democracy.
It's insane.

Do I have to accept that there will always be media outlets I deeply disagree with? Sure, and with that comes what I'll regard as biased, distorted nonsense. But to demonstrably lie so brazenly is just another level.

Sorry for the plug but...

#uksnow SG6 3/10 wet flakes, not settling yet. Just picked up our eldest from a village near Luton and that had settling snow and bigger flakes so we may get that in the next hour.

Got a solid 6/10 snow but with some rain so technically sleet but the snow is proper snow and not that tiny rubbish stuff you usually get with sleet #SG6 #uksnow

@uksnowmap.com is now using Bluesky to source its feed! This is excellent news. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

(For those outside of the UK, snow in November outside of the Scottish Highlands is uncommon, but we appear to be getting quite a bit across the UK at the moment.)

Here's a useful tool for Bluesky

Type your account name in and activate

It will come up with a list of the accounts followed by the people you follow..

If you type in your password it will give that list with an optional follow button to make life easy.

Try it 💙💙

Been reading an utterly brilliant book called “Two Heads” by Uta and Chris Frith, who are prominent neuroscientists. Is in graphic form so a really nice change, and is all about how our brains act and interact with others! Highly recommend.
