We have all of the tools at our disposal, there’s no excuses now. This team needs to sort its head out, and be platformed in a way that lets them get the goals we need to win this league

And we need to do it really fucking fast

Something has to got to change with our attack now as well. I’m seeing Timber and White receive it on the edge of their box while Saka and Trossard hug the touchline, and we wonder why Saka cant get himself a goal

I remember when we were 2-0 down to Bournemouth and we laid seige on their goal before eventually Nelson gave us that moment

We just aren’t doing that anymore, not when we need it the most. There’s no inevitability or feeling that we can get something

Serious mental challenge now

Very pleased to report that I know fuck all
Absolutely dreading the game today… Very worried that we could be on the end of a bit of a paddling

Saka assist for Gyokores was that? 😏

It’s been a really good night of football on the pitch, but I can’t rack my head around these subs

Saka and Zubi going the full 90
Eze only given 60
Kai doesn’t get on the pitch at all

Really not understanding the decisions if I’m honest
January 20, 2026 at 9:40 PM
Not terribly sure why Eze is the one coming off for Rice tbh. Zubi is playing 90 minutes almost every game, give him a breather and let Eze have the full 90 to find his moment to remind Arteta what he’s capable of

I totally see the reasons people remain optimistic and can compartmentalise this one. I’m so wound up though at us not learning from past mistakes. We did enough to win the game, sure. But there was room to make this more comfortable still but we made the same mistakes and its cost us 2 points

😩
Arsenal haven't allowed their opponents a shot on target in the last two matches and yet have taken just two points from a possible six. Wasted opportunities.

Today has really irritated me. It was there for us to go 9 points clear and we fucked it

Regardless of the ref, we made so many poor choices. That front 3 isn’t balanced and was never likely to work, less so when we’ve seen it fail before already
January 17, 2026 at 7:43 PM
To make a note on this thread, I’m far more irritated with things that were in our control and got wrong. This one has pissed me off

But such a big part of what usually makes us good is totally eradicated because 1 individual doesn’t want either team to properly contest the game with one another
What pisses me off so much about Oliver is the blaze nature of how he just saunters over to an incident he’s blown for, before casually walking away, and only then blowing his whistle for the guy to take a free kick

And you know none of that is getting added on at the end

Feel as though I’ve seen that game, specifically against Utd, so often now. Totally got their number, battering down the door, and they escape without defeat by the skin of their teeth

Like, nothing they did or changed made a difference. We were miles the better side
January 10, 2026 at 2:34 PM
I think it’s quite easy to forget that we were far and away the better team in the 1st half. Very much a game of two halves and a draw is the fair result

Ultimately we’re ending the festive period further ahead of city than before, and with a healthier squad

Feels a bit meh, but not disastrous

So I’ve just briefly seen a link with Arsenal to Georgia Stanway, I don’t know where to go for transfer gossip though so anyone know if that’s actually likely??

That Man Utd line up is genuinely hilarious

622, with 2 DMS 😂
January 4, 2026 at 11:21 AM
Kavanagh had a shocking game as per, summed up by that whistle tbh. I’d be fucking fuming if that was blown on our attack

I’ll absolutely take it, but the standard of officiating is properly in the toilet

Don’t like commenting on political/world stuff, but I’m struggling to see how what Trump is doing in Venezuela is any different to Putin and Ukraine

Invading and terrorising another country, with a complete disregard for civilians, purely for their own personal gains

It’s despicable

Assuming Rice is out, I’ve got an inkling that Norgaard is gonna get a start today…

Raya
Timber - Saliba - Gabriel - Hincapie
Odegaard - Norgaard - Zubi
Saka - Jesus - Martinelli

Not sure he’s a fan of the fireworks…

Mental that only 3 minutes was added but to then blow as soon as it ticks over despite there being another stoppage is hilarious

Referee is just miles out of his depth

I also have a theory that the surprise element of the injury news coming on the day itself serves somewhat to a nervy crowd more than one that really gets behind the team for the occasion

I was sure the crowd tonight would have been bouncing, and I’m curious if that will still be the case
