I overthink too. It HAS to be a similar trait at least half of us carry. I never go on pretending everything is fine, especially depending on how heavy the conversation was.
My trauma response has everything to do with having walls but somehow allow room for someONE poking holes at my barriers.

I can’t stress this enough. Be picky A’f about who you let into your life. Don’t date just anyone, don’t befriend everyone, and don’t be afraid to dismiss anyone that does not serve your life in a positive way. You are allowed to be picky in life!
