Maybe Bluesky takes this down, but every single functionary of the Iranian regime, from Khamenei’s circle of clerics to the IRGC and Basij, cannot in any scenario, be allowed to live after this.

Whether by external or internal forces, when the regime falls, to a man they must be wiped out.
Americans on Bluesky… what happens if the GOP loses badly in the midterms? Like under your system, explain the material difference it would or could make to Trump’s agenda and what ICE are doing?

Could that shift in numbers in Congress(?) be a genuine tipping point in the right direction?
January 27, 2026 at 11:26 PM
The protests in the US are orchestrated by Iran. Trump and ICE are actually popular and the protestors are rioters who want to destabilise the US.

…offensive, right? Americans have more agency than that don’t they?

Just like when people say the same kind of stuff about the Iranian protests.

This cretin blocked me, because when you call these people out for their hypocrisy, and realise that they’ll actively support any regime, no matter how oppressive and violent it is, just so long as it’s against the US, they fall apart.

Western privilege and scum. Pure scum.

“Let Iran decide”

…that’s exactly what the Iranian people try to do, time and time again, and are met with bullets and horrific state brutality, every time.

Coddled Western apologists thinking the regime exists as a result of democratic arguments and votes is peak ignorance

If you support an unelected, murderous regime of religious thugs, just because they’re against your own fascist leader in the White House, you probably haven’t learned much about the world since high school.

The Left must accept that while the USA is an imperial monster that that does not translate into all its enemies being good guys. The ayatollah is another monster and whatever can be done to remove him after he has ordered the murders of tens of thousands and is prepared to murder far more is good.
January 27, 2026 at 6:55 AM
To think so little of Iranians that you dismiss them as incapable of wanting change on their own. To be so offensive that you think we can’t look at a murderous regime and want rid of it without being directed by 🇺🇸 or 🇮🇱

Only one friend who marched in the Gaza protests has reached out while the massacre in Iran unfolded. Even with the internet blackout it was clear what was happening.

Any Westerner who claims to be a humanitarian but turns a blind eye to what’s happening in Iran and elsewhere is diseased

We’ve seen images of dead young people and children, body bags piled up. Reports of streets red with blood.
And yet absolute 0 fromthe Gaza obsessed celeb brigade. As there was on the famine in Sudan.
It appears if there’s no Jews to make into their bogeyman, they don’t actually care that much.

It’s worth printing this article just to force feed it to any Westerner dismissing the Iranian protests

It’s also worth reading in general. Anyone who backs up the regime with words from the comfort of the liberal west is scum.

Final note. It’s pure hopium, because I have zero faith in any meaningful amount of people actually forming a consensus that people and parties should be banned, regardless of how evidently dangerous they are.

“But it’s democracy! Just because you don’t agree with them!” will be of zero comfort 😐
Unpopular opinion, but it may be that Farage as PM is the only thing that’ll force progressives to grow a spine.

If he wins in 2029, and *IF* he loses the GE after that, the mainstream needs to get its act together. Ban him, ban his media, ban his backers, force them out. Zero. Fucking. Tolerance.

Wanting to deport legal immigrants with ILR is one of those “it’s okay to ban someone from politics because of their views” scenarios.

Journalists still don’t get it, Reform voters DO NOT CARE how their party behaves, or how unfit its people are to lead.

Farage could literally set fire to their voters’ houses and it wouldn’t dent their polling because Reform voters aren’t serious people

The BBC just can’t help itself, can it?

Nothing on the homepage on Jenrick anymore, and taking Badenoch’s word as gospel in the headline.

“Badenoch claims, without any evidence” would be the correct phrasing.

Progressives in the UK and US need to wake up. They’re too soft, too attached to the useless “when they go low, we go high” way of doing things.

Unlike the US, the UK hasn’t been taken over by the far right, but we’re failing the test.

You want to safeguard democracy? Start banning people
September 13, 2025 at 6:11 PM
The BBC’s response to the complaints ranges from outright lying, to completely ignoring the facts.

Reform are high in the polls partly *because* of the BBC promoting them and failing to scrutinise them.

Take politics out of the BBC editorial now

Political programming should be stripped from the BBC’s editorial remit.

Place it in the hands of a panel of citizens, of all parties, serving a set term, and let them oversee it.
I can’t believe that the BBC’s political editor finished his package on Mandelson with the suggestion that had Nigel Farage been appointed UK ambassador to Washington Starmer wouldn’t be facing this crisis. Was that a quote or a comment by Mr Mason? In both cases, this was not impartial reporting.

It's all well and good to point out the hypocrisy, dishonesty, inconsistency, incompetence, and downright appalling nature of a political party and its leaders.

However, when the party's voters simply do not care and indeed find it all rather appealing, it may be time to deploy different tactics.
