I hate to be that guy, but unless you are personally demonstrating Ohm's Law by inserting yourself into an electrical circuit for funsies, it's *resister* not *resistor*
I have a feeling that waiting for 7 legislative days to pass with Mike Johnson at the helm is going to be like waiting for Godot.

The biggest cowards in the Republican Party are the ones who are now going to vote to release the Epstein files after blocking the petition to bring it to the floor for months by refusing to sign it. All shameful cowards and frauds.

On this day in 1918, the War to End All Wars ended, four years and 40 million human casualties after it kicked off. Three decades later, an even bigger one got rolling, and nobody bothered to call *that* one the war to end all wars because such a thing is apparently not compatible with mankind.

The first and last lines of Joni Ernst’s legacy as a human on earth will be that she was instrumental in the confirmation of the Sec of Defense most hostile to women serving in military, and she knew that when she voted for him.

At least Dems got a ceremonial vote on the ACA subsidies in the senate so Susan Collins can vote against her party on that knowing it won’t pass but she’ll be able to run on another vote that allows her to pretend to be a moderate. The deal is an in-kind contribution to Collins.

I’ve said this b4, but here’s a little inside baseball from a former Republican: Back in my GOP days, we Republicans would privately laugh at how Democrats would never go to the mat to win. We always knew Democrats wouldn’t fight to the death politically.

Last night proved Republicans right again.

As a long-suffering Washington fan, I propose a compromise: we'll name one of the ground level men's restrooms after him, which the fans will rightfully proceed to abuse
The billionaire owner of the Washington Commanders might name his new stadium after a man who just got mercilessly booed by his entire fan base because they despise him. Seems like a brilliant branding strategy.

The most categorically unfit person ever to lead the country. And we did it twice.
What kind of man works aggressively to flex his power and deny nearly 42 million Americans food benefits intended to stave off hunger just weeks before Thanksgiving?

Some personal news: I have been financially supporting a family member in a mental health crisis which has spiraled into a financial disaster.

I would like to keep doing progressive activism but I can no longer pay rent for myself and my two kids.

Please help if you can. Thank you very much.

On this day in 1939, Adolf Hitler survived an assassination attempt, and his dipshit cultists started wearing bandages on their ears in support of oh wait that was a different fascist dictator

On this day in 1923, Adolf Hitler launched his doomed insurrection attempt, but unlike America, at least Germany had the decency to toss the MFer in jail for a bit before handing him the keys to the nation

Truth.
It seems like so many people on the right should be aligned with so many people on the left over the doomsday existential threat of AI and robotics in the hands of a handful of greedy oligarchs. But they have succeeded in pitting us against each other with culture war drivel.

It would have been less embarrassing for Mikey just to say he doesn't know anything about yesterday's beatdown.
Mike Johnson: "What happened last night is blue states and blue cities voted blue. We all saw that coming. And no one should read too much into last night's election results."
