Next week on stream, I’m starting Darkest Dungeon 1. Despite lots of hours, I’ve never finished the game.

Dispatch was a lot of fun. I feel its writing is its weakest point with some voice acting choices falling a bit flat.
In the end, it’s a 7.5 to 8/10 for me. It’s good, but it’s marred by incredibly awkward dialogue at times that tries way too hard to be internet funny, killing a scene’s tension.

The Steam Machine is interesting but for all the touting of “we wanna be affordable”, not naming a price or price range alongside that statement doesn’t give me hope just yet.
Allowing people time to set aside money is pro-affordability. Especially if you acknowledge that “money is tight”.

Dispatch is a load of fun so far. Barring a few performances, everyone does a good job in the booth, music is excellent, art is top notch.
But the writing feels… “internet”-y.
If it’s not stuck lobbing profanity at you randomly, it’s randomly horny or making two references too many to be clever.
