It certainly appears the United States murdered an innocent fisherman who was a husband and father to four children, claimed he was a "narco-terrorist," posted a video of the execution, and then made jokes about it

The stories we tell matter. I know this not from watching but from memory. I was just a child, held behind barbed wire in a U.S. internment camp, when an atomic bomb obliterated Hiroshima—killing members of my family.

I am here, Monday
Conservation is worth it
Continue to fight

The birds and the bees
The wildlife and fisheries
We fight for their life

It takes one person
To start a revolution
Why not me today?

The LGBTQ+ community is facing a seemingly endless wave of attacks — bans on gender-affirming care, anti-trans legislation, cuts to HIV funding. It is chilling. And deliberate.

However, every time they tried to write us out, we wrote ourselves back in—louder, prouder, and more determined than ever.

I was talking to a historian. They said there it lots of historical precedent for ICE to be prosecuted and punished for their actions. Following orders is not an excuse for crimes against humanity. He said in this digital age prosecutions can also happen much faster. Their identities will be known.

I am sorry everyone. I have no idea who posted this or why. SMH.

Clearly budget cuts ARE affecting our fire organization. This is outright idiotic.

Thanks @altusfs.altgov.info for the awareness.
I want to tread lightly here; this may be a younger federal employee with no older mentors left to correct them, making an honest mistake.

But no, sweet child, the moon is not contributing to nighttime heating / fire weather.

Climate change is, though.

There are many things Americans generally agree on (although maybe not in the same order):

1) Freedom is worth fighting for
2) Use tax $$ wisely
3) Reward hard work
4) Defend those who cannot defend themselves
5) Be kind
6) Honor veterans
7) Be honest (don’t cheat)
8) Be prepared
9) We love nature

Imagine today's Parable of the Good Samaritan from the perspective of the beaten man by the side of the road. His eventual salvation depends upon the person he considers to be foreign, different, "other." Does yours?

Your salvation might depend upon the one you consider to be “other” - Outreach
The Parable of the Good Samaritan is not only an invitation to be a Good Samaritan, and care for someone else, but also to be the beaten man and see in the “other” the locus of our eventual salvation.

Friends - here's a quick, easy action item to help make sure you can face yourself in the mirror tomorrow.
ACTION NEEDED:

If you have an Amazon, Etsy or other similar shopping account, please go search for “Alligator Alcatraz” merchandise and report it as suspicious.

Promoting a concentration camp is offensive (and the impact to Tribes and Conservation is problematic).

Thanks for your help!

Read it.
