Currently shouting into the void
Watching Star Trek the Original Series with my roommate, who has never seen it before.

Best quotes from my roommate:

"Captain Kirk is a Lumberjack Lesbian. I can't explain it, but it's true."

"Which one is the episode that invented omegaverse?"

Monster Dunk is a game that keeps on giving. If only it was ever actually made.
Happy Presidents' Day from The Ghost of Abrajam Lincoln, an actual character concept from the unproduced N64 horror-themed basketball game Monster Dunk by Mindscape

The Nightreign Network test is actually a week long experience.

3 days of network testing and then 4 more days of desperately trying to fix your sleep schedule because you were playing Dark Souls-Fortnite at 5am all weekend

Obsessed with how this article described Hideo Kojima.

Honestly, glad to see Compulsion really make the world building and art design their focus. We Happy Few was such a letdown in gameplay, but the world was incredible. Linear action adventure is a niche they can thrive in.

Genuinely excited to see their take on southern gothic fantasy.

I've been struck by my bimonthly urge to play Resi 2 and/or 4. Partially because I love those games, but mostly to see my boy, Leon S. Kennedy.

I am not ashamed (I'm a little ashamed)

My favorite thing I've found so far in the video game history archive from @gamehistoryorg.bsky.social

The pitch document of the canceled game Monster Dunk. The Hunchbacks of Notre Dunk deserve to be known by the world.

So @jacobgeller.com has covered the fear of the dark, caves, big things underwater, cold, not having control over your own body, and witnessing the death of a god. The basics, ya know.

Waiting patiently for him to cover my biggest fear: finding a spider in my bed while turning in for the night

Being a space nerd sometimes means looking at cool pictures of space :)

And sometimes it means staring at this shit for 30 minutes trying to figure out what the hell they're talking about because you know it's probably really neat

According to Kindle, I'm 20% through the book and I am still at a loss.

Why was his first time seeing a vampire while he was sitting on the toilet? Why do vampires drink blood by hugging someone tight like they're squeezing a juice box? Why is it about Lincoln at all?

Confession; I am unironically reading Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter in 2025. Unsure how this has happened.

Elden Ring ruined my social life, and now it's insisting I get a social life.

Where am I supposed to get a SECOND friend who wants to hear me infodump about Fromsoft lore and stats? I'm lucky to have one

After pulling over 1,000 cards, gathering 215 out of 226 cards in the base set, and finding over 30 secret rare cards, I have finally found the most illusive of creatures:

Magikarp.

Bout to say something controversial. Pluto being demoted from planet is the best thing to happen to Pluto.

It went from shittiest planet to KING of the dwarf planets, ruler of Kuiper Belt, grand liege of the Trans-Neptunian Objects.

Pluto deserves to be the best.

The funny thing about being into space is: half the time it's like, wow, the universe is so big that it really puts into perspective how small human problems are and if we only live for a blip we shouldn't let things stress us so much

And the other half the time you have a breakdown because B I G !

My mom grew up on the sanitized TV versions of films. And she'd often rent ones she remembered fondly, not realizing they were actually rated R.

I still remember her freaking out during the sex scenes in Caddyshack because she thought the entire movie was Bill Murray hunting a gopher.
Did you watch R rated movies before you were 17? If you did, do you remember what your first R rated movie was?

Mine was Starship Troopers. Not sure exactly how old I was but I couldn't have been older than 11 based on where we lived
