Finished up these #PeppermintFernPleatedPants on the weekend. Made with a linen shibori pattern fabric, should be great for summer wear. Next iteration will have the zip at the side to make it more #AccessibleClothing

Unemployment - 5.3%
Underemployment - 12.9%

The highest unemployment rate since December 2016.

And the highest underemployment rate since September 2015 (except briefly at the peak of the pandemic).

The government just doesn't care about New Zealand workers.

Sad today. One of my loved lecturers from Uni Dr John Braggins, died on Tuesday last, and today, I hear about Jane Gooddall. I'm at the age when my mentors and inspirations are leaving earthside.

Biology eh...
The weird new ant paper that shows queens laying eggs of a completely different species has me thinking that more species are probably cloning sperm in their spermathecae than we’d thought.

After all, most queens only mate once and cloning would be a great mechanism for keeping the party going.
