Hi Bluesky! I am an eco-phenomenologist working (finishing up PhD) at the intersection of green capitalism and degrowth. Meaning that I am interested in hegemonic structures of perception that make us think green capitalism is the best we can do, and why degrowth is more compelling than you think.

This is very good. Great read. The manufactured sense of helplessness as a justification or impetus for widespread callousness is definitely the point. Also, Star Trek rules.
