'This Star for a Moment Given'

Within a peaceful churchyard, a mottled and worn gravestone adorned with beautiful script tells of the life of JOHN HOLMES of Acomb and his family.

John who died in February 1841, would later be reunited with his wife JANE in 1856.

I. Within a picturesque churchyard near York and framed by long grass is the tomb of EDWARD TENNYSON (1813-1890)

Edward was the younger brother of Alfred, Lord Tennyson, poet laureate (1809-1892) and had been institutionalized since his teenage years.
