I think there may be a little more to this story. Having worked with Trek Bosch-equipped e-bikes in the past, I remember how painful it was to get warranties sorted when they had problems. You would certainly get more support from Bosch than Trek themselves. #cyclingindustry #ebikes #trekbikes

When I returned to regular cycling after a number of years without a bike of my own, I did what many people do. I jumped back into it headlong. I bought a big brand name bike, synthetic skin tight clothing, padded shorts, an assortment of jerseys, a couple of winter cycling jackets, cycling gloves and waterproofs. There were even pairs of polka-dotted, hooped and stripey fluorescent socks in garish colours in my wardrobe.
