The utter absurdity of Labour's position summed up in one sentence.
Admitting that rejoining the customs union was not “currently” the Government’s official policy, Deputy Prime Minister Mr Lammy did concede that the growth potential of rejoining was “self-evident”

Trump has the financial and military clout to blow Putin clean out of Ukraine.

Instead, the White House offers grovelling peace deals to which Putin thumbs his nose.

Which leads you conclude; just how damaging is the 'kompromat' that Putin holds on Trump? Worse even than Epstein files?

Scotland, and others, weigh up the vagaries of todays 2027 Rugby World Cup draw. Time for a major rethink?

Watched BBC 6 o clock news. Just a completely unserious broadcast. Chris Mason, acting like a children's entertainer, giving a prolonged impenetrable editorial. Not a whiff of informative content about the Budget or what it means for the country. Just playschool blah blah bollocks.

Demolishing the East Wing of the White House before finalizing plans for what will be built above its ruins is a near-perfect metaphor for Trump's approach to economic policy. The only difference is the wrecking crew doesn’t claim the rubble is evidence of unprecedented growth.

Stade Français Paris have a 6/5 record in this season's Top14. So, too, do Racing '92.

Except SFP are 4th and Racing are 11th. Ludicrously tight league.

It's a tough one, isn't it?

That's 23,000 deaths 'in England alone'. Johnson's negligence was criminal. Five Cobra meetings missed in January/February 2020 when he was otherwise engaged? Herd immunity? Let the bodies pile high? Piss ups? Tea Parties? The worst human being in the worst place at the worst time.
Boris Johnson’s lack of leadership over the seriousness of Covid led to the first lockdown being introduced too late, which contributed to the loss of 23,000 lives, the official inquiry into his handling of the pandemic has concluded
