Common Winter Damselfly Sympecma fusca, from the family Lestidae. Seen whilst on a visit to France some years back.

Zebra Jumping Spider Salticus scenicus, of the family Salticidae. Spotted this little chap at one of my local Reserves several years ago. It was very curious, and ceased what it was doing to find out what I was up to.

A photo of a Zebra Jumping Spider. Fun fact: These are a type of spider that, as a male and female spider meet, the male will begin it's courtship dance. The dance involves waving their front legs, and moving their abdomen up and down. The better the dance the more likely the male will get lucky!

Scarce Blue-tailed damselfly Ischnura pumilio, from the family Coenagrionidae. Found in France a few years ago, whilst on holiday. Stunning colour!

A Praying Mantis, of the family Mantidae. This one was seen and photographed a few years ago, whilst on a visit to Bulgaria. It's quite spooky the way they look back at you!

Peregrine Falcon Falco peregrinus, of the family Falconidae. The peregrine can reach over 200mph during its stoop, which would make it the fastest animal on the planet!
