A butterfly, ladybird & bee are playing plant charades. It's the bee's turn. After doing the whole words/syllables thing she simply stands there. Doesn't move at all. After several minutes the others admit defeat & ask "okay, what was it then?" She sighs. "Astilbe!" #Gardening

Another mixture of foliage and flower for this week’s #SixOnSaturday, as autumn continues to be quite mild.

We have Amaranth, Narine, Ginkgo leaves, a Rose, Rhus leaves, and a Cosmos flower.

When I plant a shrub or tree I usually end up digging too deep a hole & then add too much soil, going back & forth until finally getting the depth right. Then, once planted & watered I decide I should have plonked it a few centimeters to the left, dig it up & start all over again! #GardenersWorld 🌱
