This cactus was the star and start of my cactus collection and addiction. I had to set an alarm to not miss this beautiful sight. It grew too large and was donated to a larger collection 🌵💘

A small and colorful haworthiopsis attenuata in a red and white pot. A stapelia gigantea about to bloom with its first ever carrion flower! The top of a Melocactus matanzanus with its large red cephalium. Two pink seed pods are growing on top. A mix of Medusa and pink witch aeoniums doing their fall stretch. They do this every year for some reason!

🌱🌶🥕🍅🥒 Did I just do this???😅 Apparently! With end of season crop rescues comes the "What Now?" part. A modest total of pickled pints compared to what some may do over a season. Use a mandolin to assembly-line the slicing, but pace yourself as Heroes get their fingers cut off.😱😄
